    Kickin' Kiwi Watermelon Smoothie
  • The most tropical of them all! A delicious watermelon base with a Kiwi top layer. You won't be sorry for trying this one!

Ingredients

  • Watermelon Base
  • 1.5 Cup Frozen Watermelon
  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Strawberries
  • 3/4 Cup Coconut Water
  • 1 Tbsp Isis Biodynamic┬« Whole Wheat Flour
  • Kiwi Lime Top
  • 1 Cup Frozen Kiwi
  • 1/2 Lime
  • 2-3 Tbsp Coconut Water

Instructions

Watermelon Base
  1. Place the watermelon, strawberries, coconut water and flour in a blender.
  2. Blend and pour into desired cup.
Kiwi Top Layer
  1. Place Kiwi in blender or food processor.
  2. Add the 2-3 tablespoons of coconut water and blend. Add more or less to create an icy texture. To much will cause the layer to be to watery and blend with the bottom layer.
  3. Once blended, scoop out the kiwi mixture and place on top of the watermelon mixture in the same cup.
  4. Garnish as desired.
  5. Enjoy!

Recipe notes

Leave the kiwi layer on the top of the smoothie or swirl in with watermelon base for different flavors!

Garnish ideas: mint, lemon/lime shavings, organic cacao bits. Get creative!
